    Update

It’s been some time since my last update! The Missing Alchemist sequel went through more edits than anticipated — the result is a much more polished book. I wish it didn’t take so long, but I’m confident it was worth it. The manuscript is currently being typeset. I’ll have more news soon!

    Submitted!

I’m happy to announce that the manuscript for The Missing Alchemist sequel has been submitted to my publisher!  This is the most time I’ve ever spent working on a book — it’s been nearly two years since I finished the first draft! Time constraints (i.e. graduate school) are partially responsible for the long writing process, but an equally important factor is the complexity of the book. As the final installment in the series, I had to balance expanding Craig and Audrey’s world with working toward closure on their story. The manuscript took me in directions I wasn’t expecting, but I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Stay tuned for updates!

    Recent draft

The most recent draft of The Missing Alchemist sequel is finished! It took much longer than I’d anticipated, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. Currently, the manuscript is in the hands of beta readers. Once I implement their suggestions, I’ll send the manuscript to the editors. This book greatly expands on the world built in The Missing Alchemist, and I’m eager to share it with everyone. I’ll keep everyone posted as the book moves closer to its release!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

First of all, happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone gets to spend some time with loved ones and good food. Secondly, I have an update for everyone regrading my progress on the sequel to The Missing Alchemist. I’ve finally finished the first round of editing! There’s a lot going on in book 2 of the series, so it took a lot of time to make sure everything lined up. I’m going to do another round of editing, and then send it to beta readers. At this point, I don’t have any dates to share, but I assure you that progress is being made! Stay tuned!
