New Middle Grade Fantasy Novel Review

middle grade fantasy, the sacred artifact, caldric blackwell, kids fantasy bookI am excited to share a review of my new middle grade fantasy novel by the RED HEADED BOOK LOVER book review blog. For those unfamiliar with my book, The Sacred Artifact, it is the second book in the Young Alchemist series. The story follows fourteen-year-old alchemy student Craig Pike and his wise teacher, Cornelius, on a journey to uncover the secrets of a sacred artifact. The reader joins Craig, Cornelius, and the witty archer Audrey Clife on an action-packed journey across dangerous lands where they meet new friends and cross paths with old enemies!

Here is an excerpt from the review:

“The story laced throughout The Sacred Artifact is pure fantasy and will send fantasy fans wild because the fantasy laced throughout the book is mesmerizing. The journey the reader encounters in The Sacred Artifact is just as brilliant, If not more brilliant than the journey in book one The Missing Alchemist and I will explain why. I loved the story in The Missing Alchemist, so much so that I awarded it five stars! But The Missing Alchemist is the first book in the series so of course, it features heavily on plot and world development which I must add was dazzling! My point is that in The Sacred Artifact the world is already established by the incredible author Caldric Blackwell, so now Blackwell has free reign, he can expand on the book even more and go crazy with plot ideas, characters and beings and that is why I feel that I loved The Sacred Artifact just that bit more because the world is established and the journey thrilling!”
