I am delighted to share that the RED HEADED BOOK LOVER just released a new middle grade book review of “The Missing Alchemist. ” As the first book in the Young Alchemist series, “The Missing Alchemist” is an important part in Craig Pike’s story. For those not familiar with the story, the plot follows alchemy student Craig Pike on a mission to rescue his teacher, Cornelius. Craig teams up with Audrey Clife, a clever archer, and together they travel across mysterious lands and battle otherworldly creatures. The second book in the series, “The Sacred Artifact,” picks up from where the first book left off.
Here’s an excerpt from the RED HEADED BOOK LOVER’s review:
“Caldric Blackwell is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Blackwell is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with his literature and putting a smile on readers’ faces. I loved this about the author but what I loved the most about Blackwell’s writing is his remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me. Fantasy novels, in general, are difficult to write because you have to transport the reader quickly and effortlessly, but sadly this is rarely accomplished in a fantasy story but not with The Missing Alchemist. The Missing Alchemist is the way it is because Blackwell knows what he is doing! Blackwell knows how to whisk his readers away to a fantasy land and entice them with magnificent descriptions and keep readers entertained from start to finish!
Overall The Missing Alchemist is a marvelous, stellar and supreme fantasy book that will entertain, delight as well as charm young readers and even adults! And so I, of course, have to award this book five stars!”
